Welcome to Sparkling Diamonds – Our kindergarten

The Kindergarten Our aged-mixed group will care for children between 2 and 6. Our first year from September 2007 will have 14 places and will gradually extend to 16 places. You'll find a basic schedule for a typical day in the concept, the weekly schedule here for download. Projects such as "International week" and "Music and Dance" will be coordinated with the teachers and are a part of the daily routine at the kindergarten. The paedagogic concept We are currently working on an update of our paedagogic concept - please check back later. our concept is based on bilingual teaching associated with the Montessori school of thoughts and based on the principles of free and self-motivated learning. Our preschool teachers There are two full time teachers and one part time teacher. Two of the teachers are native English speakers and one of the full time teachers is native German. Where we are The kindergarten is in Ruppertstraße 24 in the Ludwigsvorstadt/Isarvorstadt district of Munich, close to Poccistraße-station on U-Bahn U3/U6. The space of over 120 square meters offers plenty of room for play, fun and many other activities. In addition to the main room there is a room for reading, a room for physical activity and also a reading and crafts corner. Within 150 meters is a large, fenced playground, and the Theresienwiese and the Isar are also close by for further outdoor activities.
