German-speaking Early Childhood Educator (m/f/d) – Full-time or Part-time – Starting July 1, 2026

We are a bilingual kindergarten (German/English) run as a parent-led initiative. Our kindergarten consists of a small group of 20 children aged 2–6. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Our wonderful team, currently consisting of 2 German-speaking, 2 English-speaking early childhood educators, and a volunteer, offers a staff-to-child ratio that other preschools can only

dream of. In addition, we have two reliable substitutes who can step in during illness and

vacation. With us, there is therefore no risk of being “left alone” with 20 children.

Our kindergarten is located in the heart of Munich and is easily accessible by public transportation (the Poccistraße stop is right nearby).

Since our highly valued German-speaking teacher is unfortunately retiring this summer, we are looking for a successor to start on July 1, 2026.

What you bring to the table

A completed early childhood education degree or comparable qualification
Language skills: Native German speaker with good English skills
A passion for and enthusiasm about working with children
A willingness to collaborate closely with us as parents and a desire to actively contribute to shaping the program
A willingness to work in an international environment and within a bilingual framework
Creativity, patience, and the ability to handle unforeseen situations from time to time
A high degree of reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
Experience with kindergarten programs
A love for being outdoors in all kinds of weather and helping to organize our numerous “Outdoor Days.” Experience in a forest kindergarten is a plus
Ability to work well in a team
